Licensing questions
What exactly am I licensing?
One complete public performance of the script, used within one year of purchase. Every license includes a digital script you can print for your director, cast, and crew.
Does the price change with a bigger house or higher ticket prices?
No. Sell out the room or don't; the fee is the same regardless of audience size, ticket price, or venue.
How do I pay?
Send the script title, your performance dates, and your organization's name through the contact form or by email, and you'll get an invoice back, usually the same day.
Can I get a refund if plans change?
Licenses are non-refundable, which is exactly why the Act I sample and the full script are free to read first. Make sure it's right for your group, then license with confidence.
How adult is the content?
Every script is written for adult audiences, and each show page has a spoiler-free content guide covering language, suggestive humor, comedic violence, drinking, bathroom humor, effects, and audience interaction. Language and some references can be adjusted for your audience; just ask. The scripts are not suitable for children's, youth, or school productions.
Can language or references be adjusted for our audience?
Often, yes. Ask before you license, name the script, and Josh will tell you what's possible for that show.
Why does the price drop at three performances?
Most community runs are a full weekend or longer, so three or more performances are $100 each instead of $120. Two performances are $240.
